Olivia could feel the chill creeping thru the November air, as she stepped out onto the back porch of the cabin she had rented, she wrapped the knitted sweater tighter to her not so slender body. Thanksgiving was only a week away and she had no desire to stay at home and watch David make a fool out of himself with that woman any longer. She held back the screams, as she thought about how he had let Janie, back into his life.
David couldn't see how Olivia ached to hold him the last time she left him. She had loved him for years and even though David knew that at one time, in the first couple of years, she had confessed how she felt about him. He had no clue that she was still deeply in love with him.
Olivia, walked to the wooden patio lounger that sat in the corner on the deck. She stretched out and her memories started to take her back to only a month ago. David and her had been planning a friends night out and like always he changed the plans, at the time she had no idea that Janie was the reason. About that time her cell phone started going off. The phone startled her as it rang again. She ignored the call. Then the text came. "I know where you are. I talked to everyone I could to find you. I'm on my way". she jumped up and ran into the house. I can't see him now, she thought, he shouldn't be coming up here. It'll only make me feel worse than I already do. Why can't he see that it's tearing me into a million pieces to know he's always within arms reach, yet I can never touch him the way I want to. The love that I feel for him is toxic. Longing for the strong but gentle touch of his kiss, sends what can only be described as a dull dagger , into my chest and makes it hard to even breathe.
She throws the suitcase onto the bed and starts tossing all of the clothes and items, she had wagged up here, at it. It'll take him an hour or more to reach the cabin. He knew where it was, they had came over the summer with Cory and his girlfriend. So she figured she could make it to
