Is it a good idea to move back home to save money?

Freedom. From what you ask? Your mother's prying ears, your brother's antagonizing - and even more so, to do what you want and explore by yourself. Freedom will cost you though, and it will cost you more than just a couple tears when you do end up missing your prying family. Before you moved out, you probably did not save up or plan for the expenses that are now overwhelming you. Let's try and cover it:

Clothes, utility bills, rent, groceries, cable, maintenance, entertainment.. and so much more. So you start to think back, begin to remember when your parents paid for it all. You used to open the fridge and grab something, and now you open it only to end up worrying about how much it's going to cost for more milk because you ran out. You have an option to move back home, but lets cover the pros and cons..

Pros:

You'll get to see your family more often.

The money you save will take a lot of stress of your shoulders.

If you're continuing education, the money you're saving will be able to help you here.

The "home" feeling is back.

There will be a lot more company, a much bigger feeling of community.

You have time to ready yourself financially and in other ways, to learn from mistakes.

Cons:

You're no longer alone, some of your freedom has been taken back.

You will be moving away from any friends you've made.

If you were/are attending school, it may be a longer distance to get there from home.

Food choices may be very different.

You may become lazy and accept this way of life.

In the end, the choice is up to you. If you are having financial trouble there is no shame in moving back home with your parents - but that doesn't mean forever! Seriously, what would your future partner think if you still lived at home at thirty? When in need of saving money, the most pronounced matter here is that you accept help when you need it but keep your head busy. Don't give up your job; in fact, go out and get one! Find a way to save, even if that only means 20 dollars a week. Research help articles about moving out before you do so this time, and work toward your goal to be financially stable as hard and fast as possible. Accept help, then get back out there!
