What is quantum physics? It is not nearly as impossible to understand as many people believe. Quantum physics itself is a branch of physics based on quantum theory. So what then is quantum theory? Quantum theory is a set of principles that describe physical reality at the atomic and subatomic level of matter. This includes the principles of atoms, molecules, electrons and protons as well as even smaller particles.
Quantum theory provides clues to the basic fundamental nature of the universe. It is the study of the behavior of energy and matter at microscopic levels. It also shows us that the universe is much different than the world as we see it. The name itself comes from the Latin word meaning "how much". The word "quanta" is used for indivisible discrete units of energy.
From thinkquest.org, quantum theory is divided into five main ideas.
Theory number one:
Energy is not continuous. It comes from small discrete units called quanta.
Theory number two:
Elementary particles behave both like particles and waves.
Theory number three:
Movement of these particles, or quanta, is random.
Theory number four:
It is impossible to know both the momentum and the position of a particle at the same time. The more precisely the position of a particle is known the less precisely the measurement is known and vise versa. In fact it is said that if both the momentum and position of a particle could be precisely known, quantum physics would collapse.
Theory number five:
The atomic world is not the least bit like the world we live in.
What is the law of attraction?
The law of attraction is considered to be pseudo-scientific. It is not an actual scientific study but a theory of thought process. Proponents of this theory believe that thoughts have energy and will attract what the person is thinking about. The law of attraction involves avoiding negative thoughts and abiding by the principles of the law with the outcome to be that the person will receive what they desire.
There are four processes in the law of attraction. First a person must know exactly what they want. Then they must ask the universe for what they want. They must be able to visualize this and act, feel and know that what they want is already theirs. Finally they must be open to receiving what they desire. The law of attraction is a mind set.
The combination:
In short, quantum physics teaches us that nothing is fixed, everything is energy and there are no limitations. The law of attraction states that we will attract into our lives what we concentrate on. When the law of attraction is applied to the quantum theory thoughts are energy and this energy has no limitations. All energy is in a state of potential and by applying focus the user will be able to create their own universe.
The full study of quantum physics itself is quite complex, it offers years of study and experimentation. However a basic understanding of the theories are not as complex. When used with the law of attraction it is a spiritual quest and not an actual scientific process.
