Poetry: If I lose you

by Molly Spinney

Created on: November 15, 2009

Closer.

She says come closer

and I wince

at the feelings

I already have

I can't help the emotions

I won't say that

that they're bad

she says come closer

and I will allow her

to hold me

both of us scared

but in her I believe

and i feel her

heart

- and I know her

her scars

and I'm sorry

if I caused any

because with her

in these sheets

I need her

always

so she says come closer

and i want her

to hold me
