Where's Today?
As I venture into today
Entwined in thoughts incomplete
Of yesterday
The fleeting night unable to erase
Fettered with aberrant wishes that lave
This languorous day to pass
Ironically for tomorrow to last
Sliding into today as apathetically
The air that caresses all
As i venture into today
Slithers down the slippery slide of a day
A laconic gesture dismisses noon
Swoops dusk its prey frenetically soon
Thru incipient gleam of dawn
Burst forth tomorrow's morn
Plunging into today as swiftly
The dreams that come and go
As i venture into today
Languishingly oblivious to its presence
Just a day
simply passing my way
Today! is tomorrow! was yesterday!
My wishes, hopes, and future's way!
Elusively unrecognized in today!
Strolling into today as disregarding
The beauty that bounces listless eyes.
