Dragon Age: Origins is a console RPG game from BioWare that will arguably set the standards for the specific aspect of character customization on the Xbox 360 console in 2009. One of the most unique aspects of the game is the fact that even with countless weapons and armor to customize your character with, your appearance actually changes when you equip something. This makes Dragon Age possibly the only third person role playing game of 2009 to feature such unique character customization on the Xbox 360 console. If players purchased the game on a pre-order, they also get access to a further armor known as Blood Dragon armor.
Blood Dragon armor is an immensely powerful armor piece with high defense and bonus capabilities. However, it also has a very high requirement of 36 strength in order to be able to equip it. If players work solely on strength from the beginning of the game, they will soon be able to equip this unique armor and reap the benefits that come wit it. Of course, if this was not a trying task enough, there is also another obstacle that comes with this armor; finding it. Unfortunately, when the players download the Blood Armor content, it does not come with a message of where it can be purchased. Just where do players go about getting this unique armor set?
The Blood Dragon armor plate can be found quite easily. Upon downloading the content and starting a game, the item will be automatically added to your inventory for use as you please. If plate armor is not your preference, you can simply sell this for high coin, but if you actually wish to reap the benefits of this armor to its fullest potential, as well as wear a steel coated in blood red armor, you are going to need the full set. Even though the plate is given to you for free, the rest of the armor is hidden with no indication as to where it could possibly be.
As players continue to progress through the game, they will encounter many shops and new characters, but one character they will meet is a dwarf and his son. If you choose to help these two individuals, they will simply go about their way as if nothing has happened. However, when you get even further into the game, you will set up an area known as "Party Camp". It is here that you will gain access to many unique cut scenes and quests, but also access to a brand new shop if you chose to help the dwarf. By speaking to the dwarf, you will be able to finally purchase the remainder of the Blood Dragon armor set: the gauntlets, boots and the helmet.
Perhaps one of the most intriguing aspects about this powerful armor is finding it. It becomes a new quest in its own right and once you have finally purchased the full set, you will soon be able to equip this impressive armor and use its many benefits and bonuses to their full potential throughout your journeys in Dragon Age: Origins.
