The cowboy sits and wonders how
To tame that wild young filly
She leads his life a merry dance
Does she to this kid Billy
And yet he has to tame her now
As she is running wild
And he is smitten by this mare
This long haired primitive child
She has driven him to despair
And will not come to heel
And yet he never will give up
So strong is her appeal
