I'm thankful for the life that I've been so gracefully given
For a sound mind, and true dreams, that are so driven
I'm thankful to see another bright day
Whether it's good or bad, I'll take it either way.
I'm thankful for the confidence that keeps me going day to day
I'm thankful for my best friend who has stuck by my side
Never left me hanging, has always been there and she truly cares
Our friendship is treasure, so I'm going to treat it that way.
I'm thankful for the roof over my head
And the food that I'm feed
Thankful for a mother who loves me so much
She works so hard effortlessly.
I'm so thankful to be so blessed
I want settle for less
God is by my side always
So I can put all my worries to rest, and just be thankful.

Poetry: What I'm thankful for
I need no life-changing fortune
To be grateful for what I have
No need to pursue happiness
When for my simple life I am
For wind and rain and green growing things,
Let us be thankful.
For gladdening sun and bright blue sky,
Let us be thankful.

Be thankful
For every day
For every person
In their own special way
Be thankful for blue skies
For warm sunlight
by Terrence Aym
The sun has risen once again.
The touch of your soft, warm hand,
The blossoming garden outside our door,
What I'm thankful
My humble thanks I give to Thee
For a life of relative peace and harmony
While some starve and suffer horrors untold
I feast
