Does God ever say no?

Does God ever say No? Just as our Father on earth tells us no to keep us safe and set boundries; so does our father in heaven.

The Ten Commandments are a prime example of that. Since God gave us free will, as we grow older into adulthood and especially through the years we raise our own children, we are conflicted between saying yes or no, making the right decisions in our life. Trying to set an example for our children, we have to remember how we grew up and how we were molded from our families.

Our past experiences play a significant role in our decisions and how we view ourselves and our families. As we go through life and get older, we find a greater need to find that missing piece in our lives, that Grace that only God can give us. When the things that used to matter to you in this world no longer do, and your search is now beginning.

Sometimes we have to listen to God's word and go beyond the limits we put ourself. Beyond our comfort zone and into the hands of God whispering in our ear to do the right thing, or take a path you do not know God is leading you on your way. When we pray for our core needs: to be safe, be loved, to love and treat others well, and to have true joy in your life, you will not be told no.

It may not be as you expect it would happen. Your prayers from deep within your soul will be answered in God's time, not yours. Sometimes when we are on our knees, our last hope, or even beyond hope as you see it, something will happen and it will move you to get up, look at your life or your needs in a different light. That is God's light shining the way.

So yes, God may say no now, and yes later when you are ready to stand up and make your way. Pray that you will not say no to Him when he calls. We do sometimes get confused and unsure of what we think we are supposed to do. There are so many roads to take, we find ourselves stuck in the crossroads. At times it seems as if we are going in circles.

Believe in yourself as God does. He Loves you, so Love youself as He does. Strength and guidance from God will not steer you wrong. It can be the most powerfull tool on earth
