For wind and rain and green growing things,
Let us be thankful.
For gladdening sun and bright blue sky,
Let us be thankful.
For medicine and earth's gentle power,
I am thankful.
For herbs that heal and spider webs in the sunlight,
I am thankful.
For love,
Let us be thankful
For rainbows shimmering in the mist,
Let us be thankful.
For a solid love of many years,
I am thankful.
For the pleasures that we share,
I am thankful.
For nurturing and nourishment,
Let us be thankful.
For the creative power to make the feast,
Let us be thankful.
For warming soup and sweet tart fruits,
I am thankful.
For the joy of bringing them to the table,
I am thankful.
For wind and rain and green growing things,
Let us be thankful.
For gladdening sun and bright blue sky,
Let us be thankful.

Poetry: What I'm thankful for
I need no life-changing fortune
To be grateful for what I have
No need to pursue happiness
When for my simple life I am
For wind and rain and green growing things,
Let us be thankful.
For gladdening sun and bright blue sky,
Let us be thankful.

Be thankful
For every day
For every person
In their own special way
Be thankful for blue skies
For warm sunlight
by Terrence Aym
The sun has risen once again.
The touch of your soft, warm hand,
The blossoming garden outside our door,
What I'm thankful
My humble thanks I give to Thee
For a life of relative peace and harmony
While some starve and suffer horrors untold
I feast
