The comfort of an Angel
Do you believe in angels? A heavenly messenger of God. One who delivers messages to earth. The comforting wings of an angel. The voice of an angel who sings to my soul.
Alone in my room I lay grieving on my bed.
I suddenly feel a hand touch my head.
God sent me an angel to comfort my soul.
I'm not alone now, her hand I will hold.
A comforting angel whom I did not fear,
stood there beside me and dried my tears.
I hear an angel's voice, to my heart she did sing.
I even felt the fluttering of her great wings.
God sent me an angel to comfort my soul.
I felt her hair brush upon me, the long locks of gold.
The light around her was so very bright.
The dress she was wearing was the brightest of white.
She washed upon me the feeling of peace.
No longer did I have the weight of grief.
A glorious, heavenly, spiritual being.
I know now it was not a dream.
God sent me an angel to comfort my soul.
I will never be alone in the cold.

Poetry: An angel's wings
Falling into a deep pit of darkness
Never to see the light of day again
I took the prescriptions I had with me
To end
With One Angel Wing
With one angel wing, an angel stands
Ever awaiting the Lord's commands.
Angels, with two wings, can fly
My angel is headless
But tall she does stand
Criss-crosses of purple
And wax in her hand
A soft glow above her
Spun glass for
I'm the girl with the broken wing,
that was kept in a cage
so they could hear me sing.
I'm the girl that they locked up tight,
An Angel's Wings of
iridescent greens and blues
Shine to heaven with beautiful hues
to tell the lord their watching out
