Gold is the color of many amazing, yet beautiful things, as gold is the color of many important things, including eye shadow. Gold eye shadow symbolizes confidence and a sense of exoticness that is not only rare, but elite. One thing is certain, I absolutely love gold eye shadow, so I have decided to narrow down the numerous gold eye shadows to only the best.

One thing that I truly love about Mac Cosmetics is the fact that they never fail to dissatisfy their clients. If you are looking for a great gold eye shadow, look no further as Mac has several. One of my favorite gold eye shadows is definitely "Nylon" which is a pale gold with icy shimmer and frost. It works amazing with just about any shade and is fantastic for blending colors. Another favorite gold eye shadow is definitely "Goldmine" which is an intense gold with a frosty shimmer. If you are looking for subtle, yet dramatic that can be built, I truly recommend "Gorgeous Gold" which is a soft, muted yellow gold pearl. If you are looking for great eye shadows, you just cannot go wrong with Mac's. Whether "Tis The Season" or "Happy Birthday" or "Just Because" for only $14.50 in change, you or the person who receives them is destined to love that much more so, as a result.

Mac also has a great selection of loose eye shadows (or pigments) that not only produce a fantastic color pay-off, but truly are long-lasting and color building, as a result. One of my favorite gold pigments is definitely "Old Gold" which is frosted, yet tarnished gold pearl. It is beautiful and is fantastic with matte shades and colors. Another favorite is definitely "Golden Lemon" which is a very effervescent, yet modish frosted yellow gold. Mac also has several from their pro line (often referred to as "Mac Pro") that include "Gold" which is a smooth, yet very high shine intense gold metal and "White Gold" which is a beautiful white shimmer infused with golden yellow pearl. Bobbi Brown is considered one of the best make-up artists on the planet, however; what makes her so worldly is her internationally known make-up brand. Bobbi Brown's Chrome eye shadow in "Gold" is amazing, as it is a beautiful, yet bold gold metallic shade. For just $22, this great addition to Bobbi Brown proves why it is one of the best gold eye shadows and a true must-have. Bobbi Brown's Metallic eye shadow in "Glitz" is quite impressive, as it is a nice white gold. For only $20, I have to admit that I love this
