Clasping hands on pumpkin stems
Squirells stuffing acorns in their dens
Tractors rolling through the fields
To gather for this seasons mill
A harvest moon lights the way
To take the spotlight from the day
An axe placed in cedar wood
Shaving piles where it once stood
Hunting the Mississippi flyaway
Trees dress up to make their display
It's harvest time!

I sowed my oats both wild and free,
I sowed them oh, so recklessly.
Now harvest brings them back to
