Antiparos is a small island of the Cyclades, located next to the Paros Island, and is very popular during the summer months.
It has an easy and smooth pace of life, and is almost traffic free and easy to walk to most places, a bus service, taxi service and car hire.
With beautiful beaches and a good nightlife, it is a good holiday destination for families, young people and the more mature visitor.
The atmosphere is friendly and it is easy to get acquainted with its people, who are open and hospitable folk who adore their island.
Getting There
The closest island is Paros, so the best way to get here is to take a direct flight to Paros from Athens, the flight lasts 35 minutes.
Alternatively you could get a ferry from Piraeus and then take the local boat which only is about a 30 minute sail.
What to Do
Water-sports and diving school, and the surf club is only 8minutes with the local ferry and 5 minutes walking.
Scuba diving and sea kayaking, and beach volley at the island's beach bars.
Underwater fishing
Boat trips around the island and the famous Despotiko Island and to those beaches and islets which are accessed only by boat let them take you there on their way to the dive sites and pick you up on our their back.
Visit the famous Cave located on Agios Ioannis Hill, there is a local bus connecting Chora with the cave.
Strolls along the paved alleys of Kastro
Visit the monastery of Saint Minas.
Swimming and relaxing on numerous beaches with warm sand beaches and crystal turquoise waters and on Psaralidhaki beach nudism is allowed.
