SOMETHING PRECIOUS
I wake up to sunshine
feel warmth on my skin,
I find myself smiling
and dreaming again.
His Spirit is within me,
He embraces me with love,
and if that's not enough
He sent you from above.
"Something precious" He said,
as He introduced you to me
"He's is one of my own, and
he's very dear to me"
God sweetly continued
his story of you
which touched my heart
and my love grew.
With God by my side
and you to share each day
I'm completely blessed
and thankfully pray.
