Hey, girls: do you really want to pull your guy away from the excitement of the game? Or is it when you see him so into something that he isn't even aware of what's going on around him and every drop of his excitable energy is focused on that game, then just for some silly moment you think to yourself, "He doesn't get that excited about me"? Of course not; well, not that way.

Think about it. The football game and a man's love for his woman; one has nothing to do with the other, nor should they. Even if you enjoy the game as much as he does, it's not the best idea in the world to ask a guy to stop watching the game, to break away and come give you a little personal attention, talk about asking someone to jump through the hoops. Would you really want a person you care for to respond in such a controlled fashion?

Take a look at the guys when they watch the game. It's as though they are in the game; they're throwing the ball, catching it, running it, every move consumes them, and the excitement of watching their team score, the disappointment of that most valuable player being injured. Oh, and the pain of defeat. Though through it all, your guy is having the best time, he's not there, but he's there. So stand back and let him - no, help him, encourage him - to get into the game and enjoy it. If you're not a big fan of the game, just sit back, go ahead and stand back if necessary, and watch your man have a great time on game day. If you love this guy you'll have a good time just watching him.

If game day just isn't your cup of tea, though you know your guy is going to throw on his football jersey and become game-day crazed, then make that day for you a personal day; the day you shop, or maybe you and a few of your girlfriends can make that your glam day, get the nails done, a facial, oh, yeah - maybe even a massage. By the day's end, you'll be happy and beautiful, not to mention relaxed, And your guy will have enjoyed his football to his heart's content. Both of you doing what you like on game day.

You know without a doubt that nothing in the world means more to your man than you, the two of you share your very lives. There are just a few perks that pop up regularly and seem to get the better side of his attention, though always remember, not his preference, just his attention. Have fun.
