The sun has risen once again.
The touch of your soft, warm hand,
The blossoming garden outside our door,
What I'm thankful for . . .

Bright blue skies and puffy clouds,
Bustling cities and jostling crowds,
Th peaceful vistas of the plains,
Tall and graceful golden grains.

Rolling hills and valleys green,
Daily living, daily routine,
Adventures in exotic lands,
Living out God's great plan.

The countless stars glowing in the sky,
The cherished love between you and I,
A baby's cry, a tender embrace,
The timeless beauty of your face.

The starfish in the ocean deeps,
The rugged, jagged mountain peaks,
Skyscrapers thrusting upwards higher,
The discoveries of light and fire.

Imagination and creativity,
Innovation and technology,
The brilliance of Man's mind,
Sharing the spirit of the Divine.

I'm thankful for both calm and strife,
Thankful for each day of life,
Thankful for me and for you,
Yes, thankful for everything we do.

Thankful for all of this and more,
Is what I'm thankful for . . .
