Winter fashion 2010: Where to find designer brands for less

Most of us would like to have designer clothes, especially with the fashion trends of 2010 on the way. However, with the economy in a pinch, it can be difficult for many of us to afford them. Is there any way to have designer clothes without paying designer prices? Most people would say no, you get what you pay for. However, this is not true. There are many places that make designer clothes more attainable for many people. Here are a few places:

1. Ebay-This is one of my personal favorites. You can buy new and used designer brand clothes. You can sometimes find both new and used clothes for pennies on the dollar. You could probably find any brand or design your heart desires on ebay. Ebay is also one of those places you can get just about anything else you want also. With ebay, everything is kind of at your fingertips, so to speak.

2. Marshalls- Marshalls is one of the largest discount outlet stores around. They are all over the nation. You should have no problem finding a Marshall within driving distance of your home. Marshalls offers tons of designer products, not just clothing.

3. Designer Outlets- There are designer outlets for just that specific designer. Liz Claiborne, Dooney and Burke, and many others offer discount outlet stores. You can potentially save over 50% by shopping in these places. You can find a full listing of these designer outlets online.

4. Used-Believe it or not, you can find nice designer brands used at yard sales and in good will stores. I have shopped in both these places. I have found nice Tommy Hilfiger jeans for two bucks. You couldn't tell they had ever been worn. I have found countless other designers for around pennies on the dollar by buying used. Before you pass up on the used items, you should know that you can find used items hardly used. No one will know unless you tell them.

Why go without designer clothes you want, when you don't have to? Why pay a fortune for them when you don't have to? These coveted items can be found for pennies on the dollar. No one will be the wiser that they were discount. Not like most people would care anyway. Most people would appreciate your thrifty, money saving skills. They would probably even like to know the secrets to buying discount too.
