Product reviews: Mr. Clean Magic Eraser multisurface cleaner

Here's a bit of facts on common uses for "Magic erasers" prior to becoming a Magic Eraser. For over 20 years, melamine foam was used as insulation for pipes and duct work. It's also been commonly used for soundproofing stadiums, auditoriums...etc, since Melamine is very unlikely to catch fire it was perfect for these common use jobs.

When I first bought this product, I was at my wits end fighting kids finger and face prints, never the less the marker and pen marks that were drawn up and down my hall way "oh my, that will never ever come off". It did! And so did everything else I've ever put to the Magic Eraser test! I've done some pretty surprising stuff to test the power of the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and let me tell you, it's passed every single one. The only two downfalls I can find about this product is that if the surface is a bit rough, not quite smooth, it disappears very quickly. Using it in my worn out fiberglassed metal bath tub trying to scrub hair dye out sure did work but, it took me 2 magic erasers to do it. The other is that some surfaces need a second go over with a wet jiffy cloth or rag to get the white film off of the surface. I'd much rather have to lightly pass over something with a clean rag, then have to go over it over and over and over again many times just to get the dirt off.

Otherwise uncleanable messes, have become cleanable; imagine that! A product that does what it says! With 3 kids running around the house all under the age of 6, the magic eraser has become my best friend and companion; we know each other very closely now. I use the Magic Eraser for everything, even when I'm using other household cleaners I use it (not sure if you're supposed to, but I do anyways). I loved this product so much I actually ran out and bought a Mr.Clean Magic Eraser mop, I've never in my life owned a mop I always figured getting down and doing it old fashioned was the best way to get the job done... until I met this one.

My advice to anyone not using a magic eraser, and putting in way too much elbow grease... spend a little, get a lot!
