thanksgiving day screams and chants
thanksgiving day screams and chants
the teams are on the field we watch
and stand to the national anthem
the only time this game will be quiet
kick off an uncle throws an elbow
into my side and laughs fumble
my plate tips and gravy on the floor
without a blink or sorry another laugh
fumble he shouts and pokes again
i laughed with him it was ok this day
carpet cleaner and paper towels
will get the gravy right out today
and as my team scores the last points
i will throw him the towel fumble
