Wii Play
This game is a fun and interactive game, all you need is a Wii remote and if you want extra fun, a friend. This game has 9 minigames on it, the Shooting Range, Find Mii, Tennis Table, Pose Mii, Laser Hockey, Billiards (snooker), Fishing, Charge! And (my favourite) Tanks. Each is also designed to help you with controlling the Wii remote as well as having fun.
The Shooting Range is a pretty fun game where you basically aim your Wii remote at the screen and press B or A to shot. There are loads of thing you have to shoot at - cans, balloons, birds, flying ships etc...
Find Mii in this game - you have to find the specified Mii among lots of others Miis, within a limited period of time. If you get it right (pick the right Mii), you will go to the next level, and the time remaining is extended slightly. If you get it wrong, the time remaining decreases slightly. This is good practice in aiming the Wii Remote.
Table Tennis in this game, the aim is to see how many times you can return the ball with the paddle. This is good practice in manipulating the Wii Remote fast and accurately.
Pose Mii, match the Mii's pose with the 3 types of silhouettes. If the silhouette falls to the bottom of the screen, this counts as one miss. Three misses and its game over. This allows you to become accustomed to the Wii Remote's twist controls.
Laser Hockey, in this game you use the paddle to shoot the puck into your opponent's goal. If you press A and B buttons at the same time during the countdown at the start of the game, you will be able to change the shape of the paddle. This is good practice in moving and twisting the Wii Remote.
Billiards, in this game, you hit the balls to drop them into the pockets. This is good practice in moving the Wii Remote towards and away from the screen.
Fishing, in this game you catch for fish, aiming to score as many points as you can. This is good practice in moving the Wii Remote vertically, horizontally and back and forth.
Charge! In this game the aim is to make the cow run (you are on it), and score goals knocking down scarecrows. This is good practice in holding the Wii Remote horizontally in both hands and tilting it, or swinging it upward quickly.
Tanks (this has to be my favourite game on Wii Play), you have to use shells and mines to destroy the enemy tanks. This is good practice in pointing the Wii Remote while using the + Control Pad.
