With HTML, there is a way to add colors to it in order to make it appear better than what it was or even make it to the point of being able to see it come out better than anticipated. Colors are very common and can be used for just about any tag possible. Examples include the backgrounds, tables, and fonts as well; of course there are div tags. As a matter of fact, they can be utilized for CSS or Cascading Style Sheets. There are ways to actually take care of it and actually isn't really that complicated whatsoever.

It should be noted and recommended that you should have a good grasp on how HTML works because without it, there could be mistakes made. For references on colors, it would be recommended to go to W3Schools because there is a reference sheet on all the colors. It should be noted that it would be for the hex codes on that in order to really understand them. They have a combination of letters and numbers depending upon the color of course. While you can write the actual color, it will work for the basic ones. For more complex colors such as dark orange or goldenrod, it would be best to look up the code exact for specific purposes. There can be different degrees of it.

To be able to better explain it, it would be best to show which types it will work with the most. The font tag however is pretty much obsolete and has been mainly been utilized in style sheets but for those who want to see it, there is a way to do it. Mostly, it would be best to do all the formatting for a style sheet because then, it could be used as a template. Instead of explaining it, it's going to be more of demonstrating on how it looks and really trying to work with it.

With a background however, it really is that simple. Just simply use the body tag and type in bgcolor and that should do the trick. Be sure to have the equal sign and of course the color of your choice. It should be noted that you can also type in color as well for the text as well. It would be recommended and wise to simply go about having a contrast of colors. Why that would be the case would be to make it readable without question. Without that, no one will know what is written unless that is the goal. It sounds pretty simple and basic in that respect.

There are tables and div tags as well, pretty much use those ones as above because that is how it works and how it should. For tables however, you can be a bit more specific on table cells. You should use the td tags and that should do the trick in that respect. Be sure to be able to use that if you intend to do so. Mostly, it really is very simple when it comes to using pure HTML. However, it should be noted that there is a way to do with style sheets and have it apply to web pages. Again, it would be recommended to create a template to keep the pages settings identical just to keep it simple.

Style sheets however can be internal or external. The recommended one so that there isn't a lot of coding on the page would be external. Just simply use the tags in question from HTML and then just simply type in the following: background-color, and for specific cells, just label them something else. Save the external page as a .css file and then simply go to the header portion and just link it. It would have to be with this tag, though put the < and > at the end. It would be link rel="" href="" type="" and that's about it.

That is really all that needs to be done and really is right to the point. It's not very difficult. If you know HTML, you'll have no problem being able to work with colors.
