Mario Party 8 (for the Wii)
Mario Party 8 is game that is great for playing on your own or with others you need 1 Wii remote per person (no Nunchuk required). Mario Party is famous for its mini-games and this one doesn't let you down, it has loads of them.
The game has 6 board games and to win them you have to complete the certain victory condition(s) some are to get a certain amount of stars and some are different.
The first board game is DK's Treetop Temple, in this game you have to get 2 stars to win, to get a star you have to trade 20 coins for a star in the star area.
The second is Goomba's Booty Boardwalk this game is simple get to the finish with 50 coins, but you have to beat your opponent to it.
The third board game is (my least favourite) King Boo's Haunted Hideaway in this game you just have to give King Boo 10 coins to get a star and you need 2 stars to win but there is a catch the rooms move when someone trades 10 coins for a star and the whole map is dark.
The forth board game is Shy Guy's Perplex Express this is basically a board game on a train, the train being the board game, you win by collecting 50 coins then giving them to the celebrity Koopa before your opponent does.
The fifth board game is Koopa's Tycoon Town (this is my favourite board game), you have to travel around the board while investing your money into hotels. Anyone can invest into the same hotel so the person who has the most money invested into that hotel gets the stars it is worth. The goal is to win 4 stars before your other opponents.
The sixth and last one is Bowser's Warped Orbit you all start out with stars but you have to steal your opponents stars using canny (bullet canny and bowser canny) the first person to steal everyone's canny wins.
If you just want to get straight into the mini games then the Minigame Tent, there are five ways to play - Free Play Arcade, Crown Showdown, Flip-Out Frenzy, Tic Tac Drop and Test for the best.
Free Play Arcade is where you can play any minigame that you have encountered in the Party Tent or in a Star Battle Arena.
The Crown Showdown is where you compete to be the first to tally 3,5 or 7 wins in this competitive mode.
Flip-Out Frenzy, when you win a minigame you can choose one of the tiles that have not yet been claimed. When you choose a tile, all of the other tiles in the same row and column will also be seized. To win you must finish up with the most tiles.
Tic Tac Drop you play minigame to determine who gets to drop balls of their own colour into a grid. The first person to line up three balls of their own colours wins.
Lastly Test for the Best you have to play ten mingames (set) trying to get the best score you can.
