How to survive without a cell phone

It might seem impossible to live without a cell phone nowadays because you can hardly find someone who doesn't possess one. The reality is different; you don't need a cell phone to survive and it is often easier than you imagine. It is more a matter of changing your lifestyle and you could live without a cell phone many years ago. Technology has changed during the last years and also our habits are changed. A cell phone will often ease our life because if we take our cell phone with us, we are always reachable and certainly useful in case of emergency.

Surviving without a cell phone is perfect possible. You don't need one to breathe, to work, to keep in touch with other people and you don't become sick and you also don't die if you don't have a cell phone. This doesn't mean that cell phones are not useful in our life; it is just not a gadget we need to survive. It is more a habit, an addiction, a change of our lifestyle with also negative consequences, for example an increase of stress through the annoying beeping sounds at every moment of the day.

Here are some tips which may help you to survive without cell phone:

*Activate answering machine on your landline phone

Most people use their cell phone as only form of communication. It is more useful to call with your landline phone and most of the last models have an answering machine. You need to activate this option and people have the possibility to leave a message when you are not at home.

*Warn your most significant family members

It might be useful to warn your spouse, parents, children or some other significant people when you leave the house or inform them where they can reach you if you are at your work. It is certainly useful in case of emergency. It may be possible your child become sick or someone need your help for urgent tasks; in such situation they know where to reach you.

*Planning in advance

Most people use their cell phones to plan their activities. This can be a meeting, an appointment with friends or family members, a social activity and even for entertainment. You might use some other communication tools to plan your activities. It is maybe more useful to plan your activities in advance through the Internet services of your computer, for example email, social network sites (for example Facebook, Twitter, Messenger) or chatting.

*Take emergency phone numbers with you

It might be more convenient to store the numbers of emergency in the name list of your cell phone. There is no need to use a
