What is the purpose, motive and intent of humanity

by Dawn Hawkins

Created on: November 12, 2009

The purpose, motive and intent of humanity is one thing and one thing alone. It is to fulfill God's purpose for us. Though many will say otherwise, this is why we are here as humans. We are to give life to God's word and the meaning behind them. We are supposed to fulfill his purpose for us. We don't know what that purpose is and cannot fathom an intent or motive for it. It is simply as implied.

We, as far as humanity goes, think that we run our own lives. In a way we do. We determine what we do by making decisions. The final say isn't ours though. It is God's will that ultimately is fulfilled. We can do as we please. We can pat ourselves on the back and tell ourselves that we did something. The truth is though, God has done it for us. He has allowed us to breathe fresh air or to wake up in the morning. He allows us to be successful or a failure. It is our purpose to fulfill his purpose.

The purpose, motive and intent for humanity is unknown to us. It is something that we aren't supposed to know. We can guess what some peoples purpose is here. It can seem obvious that this person is a Christian and that person isn't. Don't get too sure of your thoughts though. God knows the truth. Many people pretend to be something they are not. When they do that, they find themselves shocked to find out that they were wrong.

Our every breath depends on God for help and guidance. If you don't lean towards God, the breathing can be a little more labored. We make it hard on ourselves by not relying on His power. God is true and real. If you listen to what he has to say, you life will take a turn for the better. When things go wrong in your life, you will be able to distinguish if it was God or Satan who brought it about.

We will be tempted to do things that we know are wrong. That is a test. God needs to know that we are true to him. If we are not, he will find us out immediately. It is up to each person to find God and to trust in him. If you don't, you are only leading yourself to a horrible fate. God is there always. It is His purpose, not ours that is the intent of humanity. It is His purpose that gives us the motive for the things that we do. It should be anyway. If you live for Satan, you will get what you asked for. If you live for God, you will be rewarded in ways that you cannot imagine. That is humanities purpose, motive and intent.
