Before you get started in your blogging career, you might need to consider some practical tips, but first it is important for any blogger to understand there is no instant way to achieve blogging success. It does take time to build a blog before you can make much money, and it is necessary to have a high traffic blog with plenty of quality content before you start blogging for money.
When your blog is successful you can make much more money writing and posting on your blog. You can earn higher amounts of ad revenue, or get paid more in sales commission from your affiliate programs. You can join a paid blogging program and get paid for posting sponsored blog posts. .
1 - Brand your new blog.
For blogging success you need a blog with a brand that people will remember. Be sure your blog visitors know who you are and what you blog about. Fill in your profile, use the "About me" feature, and add an "About this blog" page.
Brand your blog, and your own identity so you can become known for your enthusiasm and expertise. Always register with the same username in forums and at social sites, to establish your blogging identify.
2 - Write and post on your blog as often as possible.
The more original content you post on your blog, the more visitors it will get. Each blog you visit, take time to read and add your comment to the post. This will add value to your own blog. Your name in the comment box should be hyperlinked to your blog. If you try to use comment boxes to spam your own links, those comments will get rejected or be deleted.
4 - Use social sites to build a following.
Do not use social sites only for sharing links to your blog. Participate daily and share interesting and useful links. When you make friends and gain followers you can share more of your blog posts with them.
You can use the RSS feed of your blog in some applications, such as Twitterfeed, to add links automatically from your all your blog posts to all the social sites where you are registered.
5 - Join paid blogging programs.
You can make more money blogging by writing sponsored blog posts and paid reviews. Before you can join any paid blogging program you will have to meet the minimum requirements. Most programs only accept applications from people who have active blogs, which must be more than a few months old. Page rank and the amount of traffic to a blog is important too. Bloggers get paid per post when they follow guidelines carefully and write quality reviews.
A successful blog will provide you with a good regular income. You can make a career out of blogging, but only if you have realistic expectations about the amount of time and effort required to become known and be noticed. Once you have made a good start you can easily earn more money from blogging.
