Before you get started in your blogging career, you might need to consider some practical tips, but first it is important for any blogger to understand there is no instant way to achieve blogging success. It does take time to build a blog before you can make much money, and it is necessary to have a high traffic blog with plenty of quality content before you start blogging for money.
When your blog is successful you can make much more money writing and posting on your blog. You can earn higher amounts of ad revenue, or get paid more in sales commission from your affiliate programs. You can join a paid blogging program and get paid for posting sponsored blog posts. .
1 - Brand your new blog.
For blogging success you need a blog with a brand that people will remember. Be sure your blog visitors know who you are and what you blog about. Fill in your profile, use the "About me" feature, and add an "About this blog" page.
Brand your blog, and your own identity so you can become known for your enthusiasm and expertise. Always register with the same username in forums and at social sites, to establish your blogging identify.
2 - Write and post on your blog as often as possible.
The more original content you post on your blog, the more visitors it will get. A blog with hundreds of posts, all properly tagged and titled, with keywords in the text, will get plenty traffic from search engines. A blog with two or three posts, and little content, will get overlooked and will not make money.
Some bloggers get a higher page rank simply by posting more than once a day. You can embed a video or add an image in separate blog posts, provided you comply with rules of copyright and use these legally. You can write a series of blog posts, rather than add a single post of 1000 words or more. Search engines will identify each post as being new content and this will give your blog a higher ranking.
3 - Interact with other bloggers.
Use your own blog to start debates and seek opinions from your readers. When visitors to your blog leave valuable comments, respond to those comments, visit their blogs and comment on the posts you read.
Each blog you visit, take time to read and add your comment to the post. This will add value to your own blog. Your name in the comment box should be hyperlinked to your blog. You can include a post link in your comment, if any of your posts are relevant to that topic. Genuine comments always add something to a discussion. If you try to use comment boxes
