Which video game console is better: XBox 360 or PlayStation 3?

PS 3

by Nile Horton

This question has been asked over and over for so long. It's time someone put this to rest. So....I will be the one to do it.

The PS3 wins by a long shot because:

1.) First and foremost, the red ring of death. I have never witnessed a PS3 console randomly freeze, shut down and refuse to work again.

2.) The towel trick. Okay, this one is just ridiculous. I was staying the night at my cousin's house and we were playing his XBOX360 when all of a sudden, text comes on the screen reading, " An error has occurred." This would happen anytime we try to play anything until he came up with the idea of wrapping the system up in a towel. Where he got that idea from was beyond me, but we tried it and it worked again. Now, if I can recollect correctly, I don't ever remember having to wrap my ps3 in a towel to get it to do its job.

3.) The PS3 has better games. Before you start yelling at me through your computer screen, I want you to reread that sentence carefully. I said BETTER games. The XBOX360 might have MORE games, but the PS3 has BETTER games. God of War, Heavenly Sword, Battlefield: Bad Company, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, and these are just a few. The 360 has its fair share of good games, but the ps3 has more GOOD games.

4.) The PS3 offers free online play. Enough said.

5.) Can your XBOX360 play Blu-Ray? If it can then I'd love to see it.

6.) The PlayStation Avatars look fairly realistic. The XBOX360 ones look like a rip-off of Nintendo's Mii concept.

7.) The XBOX360 has a clunky design. The PS3's is more sleek and slender.

8.) I went to a used video game store and did a test. I traded in 3 PS3 games and got $30 for them. I traded in the same games for XBOX360 and got $7.50. The PS3 has better trade-in credit.

9.) Does your XBOX360 have a six-axis motion sensor controller? Didn't think so.

10.) There is no "PS3 Arcade" that doesn't even have an internal hard drive and can't even run all of the games designed for its own system. Try playing Halo 3 on an XBOX360 Arcade. Go ahead. I'll wait...........Did you do it? What did you find out?
