I never really understood
Why you are so well-liked
Thoughts of you make some cringe
But for some reason every year
they need have another taste
More or less for tradition's sake
really it's kind of ridiculous
Not a single person will sit
until the table is graced with it
Before taking your first bite
be sure to pucker up your lips
This is a warning of how tart it is
With a little bit of force
you may like cranberry sauce
Take another bite or two
now it seems way too sweet
Maybe try it with a little meat
Not sure if you like it or not?
Just do what we do, it's okay
Try it again next Thanksgiving Day!
