If you love puzzle games that make you think, Pathways is a perfect app choice for you. Pathways is a great puzzle game that will have you scratching your heads at some points, and have you excited and happy at others. The game gets progressively harder as you beat each level, but with some help and a little bit of patience and thought, you will be able to get through each level, little by little. I am completely hooked on this game, and I'm even happier that even the price has dropped from $4.99 to 99 cents.

First, the graphics are not the best. If I had purchased this game for $4.99, however, I wouldn't complain anyway. I think that for the price of either 99 cents or $4.99, the graphics are decent. For a bigger price, the graphics would not do. However, the graphics are good enough for the purposes of the game, and they do not hurt the eyes at all. With that said, I think that the game is still a bargain with the type of graphics that it has.

Secondly, the difficulty levels are both pros and cons. For example, even though I love games that offer different difficulties for people of different expertise (easy levels for beginners, advanced levels for experts), I still think that the difficulty levels of Pathways could be separated better. I think that there should be a definite starting and stopping point for distinguishing between difficulty levels. For example, when you are finished with a set of levels marked off for beginners, the next set of levels for intermediate difficulty should also be marked off. This way, you know what kind of levels you are going to be dealing with.

Lastly, the gameplay is quite smooth. I would say that for an inexpensive game, Pathways allows for easy maneuverability and control. I have very little trouble moving the character around. I should also add that I have had no problems with crashing or lagging, or any type of glitch. I might also suggest that people restart their devices before even opening the app for the first time. This may help eliminate any of those problems listed.

All in all, I recommend Pathways to anyone who wants to play a puzzle-type game that will keep him or her riveted to the seat for hours. Pathways is an excellent choice, and is perfect for people of all ages and backgrounds.
