There are many ways to get a government job through internships, and one way is through career high schools like John A. Dubiski high school in Grand Prairie, TX that focus on starting students on their career paths before they exit high school. These schools offer career based classes like mechanics, media tech, animation, interior design, and even cosmetology. There are also classes for business, entrepreneurship and other jobs. After you pass your career classes, you will have a registered license to work in that field.

In mechanics class, the students actually get to work on cars and do repair jobs on actual clients.

Media tech classes use the latest Adobe Software and iMac Macintosh computers. They also have their own set and green screen room.

Animation classes have the latest Photoshop CS4 release and iMacs as well. They frequently edit themselves into Photoshop projects using the iMac's built in cameras.

Cosmetology classes also offer services for students as well as the general public. The cosmetology also uses the latest in fashioning tools.

There is one thing that may be seen a problem for some students.there are no sports teams. There is a fitness club that students can choose to sign up for, but, unlike other schools, physical education is not mandatory. The fitness club has the most modern fitness equipment such as weights, treadmills, step training and more. You can also run around the premises for a little while if you wanted to. The fitness class is an hour and a half minute class, so you get a little workout.

Now, for the most important partthe part about internships. Aside from the academic grading as other normal schools, this career school also has something that they call an employability rubric, which is graded on following the school dress code(which is business casual, meaning no jeans are allowed, only slacks and a nice, collared shirt.), following the school rules(which are really simple. Don't do anything stupid.), and turning all of your assignments in on time. The higher you employability score is, the higher you are on the call list for when the school starts talking to potential employers for intern jobs.

This school is more for the students who know exactly what they want to do as a career, and are willing to put up with the stricter dress code and rules.

At the present, there aren't very many schools like this one out there, so if you want to save money in the long run by getting your student licensed right out of high school, you may want to consider one of these schools.
