When it rains my body trembles
My heart races
My body temperature drops
i feel an urge to say
"HEY LET THE SUNSHINE THROUGH!"
My mood is not so much relaxed
But more afraid
This is what happens

Puddles form along the street.
They come in many shapes and sizes
For so many
When it rains in the spring I close my eyes
a symphony as it plays upon my roof
Waves of showers against the window pane

Showers in Mexico
Cars on the cobblestone streets
emit gas into the humid air,
as the smell of salt lingers
from the nearby
When it rains the old man thinks
He see's slithers of silver,
Littering his garden path.
His elderly brain turns lightening
