3D Brick Breaker Revolution takes the classic game of breaking bricks to a whole other level. The 3D graphics are blindingly good and the amount of included features are outstanding. Anyone who wants to play an iPhone app that is entertaining, fun, and a twist on an old classic will want to play 3D Brick Breaker Revolution.
First, there is much to say about the graphics of this game. For something that only costs $2.99, 3D Brick Breaker Revolution is a bargain. I have tried many games that cost more than this and many of them were disappointments, especially in the graphics area. Sometimes, I even think that the graphics are too good. Sometimes the screen is so bright that I cannot play this game if the lights are turned off or turned down. I have to turn on the light so that my eyes aren't blinded by the brightness.
At any rate, I love the many features that are included in the game, such as the 3 modes of gameplay and the different ways that you can break the bricks. For example, if I want to play a quick game that is really challenging, I will play on Time Attack mode. I have to remove all of the bricks before the time runs out. Because there are nukes and bombs, this can be made relatively easy, but sometimes when I do not find these extras I am stuck playing the level on my own, and that is where the real challenge and fun begins.
Classic Mode has 99 levels, and I have not yet come close to finishing even half of them. Revolution Mode is a nice mixture of some of the elements of Time Attack and Classic Mode. It is basically a long endless game that is full of many bosses. Some of the bosses are relatively easy, and many others are quite difficult. However, I do not think that the game itself is unbeatable, and these levels of difficulty actually means more gameplay.
The controls are also on par. They work perfectly and it is easy to maneuver the player's brick breaker. And, the game is also customizable. You can change the type of bricks. There is great music that really helps bring the app to life.
All in all, I highly recommend 3D Brick Breaker Revolution. It is inexpensive and it will keep you playing for hours.
