Thank you, Soldiers. . .


When I freely rise to a new day,

I say, "Thank you, soldiers!"

When I freely speak my mind,

I say, "Thank you, soldiers!"

When I freely cast my vote,

I say, "Thank you, soldiers!"

When I freely worship my God,

I say, "Thank you, soldiers!"

When I freely snuggle into a warm bed,

I say, "Thank you, soldiers!"

When I freely share my writing,

I say, "Thank you, soldiers!"

When I freely own a gun,

I say, "Thank you, soldiers!"

When I freely hug my child

I say, "Thank you, soldiers!"

When I freely salute my flag,

I say, "Thank you, soldiers!"

When I freely sing 'God Bless America,"

I say, "Thank you, soldiers!"


Wherever I go,

Whatever I do,

I do it freely

because of you!

"Thank you, soldiers!"
