"Crovax, Ascendant Hero" is a legendary white human lord printed as a rare for the Magic the Gathering expansion set known as "Planar Chaos." This is one of the cards printed in Planar Chaos that are alternate versions of legendary characters. In this case, Crovax, Ascendant Hero is from an alternate timeline compared to the current Crovax who was printed as "Crovax the Cursed" and "Ascendant Evincar."
The converted mana cost for Crovax, Ascendant Hero is six. You are going to need two white mana and four colorless mana to play Crovax, Ascendant Hero from your hand onto the battlefield. For the abilities that Crovax, Ascendant Hero can provided, the six mana cost is highly reasonable enough. Keep in mind that Crovax, Ascendant Hero is a legendary creature and is subject to the "legendary rule." Should there be two cards on the battlefield named Crovax, Ascendant Hero at the same time, they both get sent to the graveyard.
What does Crovax, Ascendant Hero do in the first place?
The first ability of Crovax, Ascendant Hero is that all of your other white creatures get +1/+1. They get a boost. In this respect, you can make a pure white deck with Crovax, Ascendant Hero. This does make Crovax, Ascendant Hero a good general for an EDH (Elder Dragon Highlander) deck. However, there is still the six mana cost to think about. If you are playing multicolored cards that have white mana, they can still benefit from Crovax, Ascendant Hero. This is the complete opposite of Ascendant Evincar. Ascendant Evincar gives all black creatures +1/+1.
The second ability gives all nonwhite creatures -1/-1. It weakens nonwhite creatures in the process. Those 1/1 creatures automatically die when Crovax, Ascendant Hero comes onto the battlefield. Since those creatures did not die of damage, they cannot be regenerated. If your opponent has a bunch of 1/1 tokens that are not white, they are going to die when Crovax, Ascendant Hero enters the battlefield.
Should something target Crovax, Ascendant Hero, you can use the third ability. The third ability allows you to pay two points of life. Doing so lets you return Crovax, Ascendant Hero back to your hand. The best thing about this ability is that you get to use life points instead of mana if you have the life points to spare. That way, you still have plenty of mana to spare.
Overall, Crovax, Ascendant Hero is a pretty good card to have if you are playing a white deck. If you have the means to gain life points, keep using Crovax, Ascendant Hero. It is definitely worth having Crovax, Ascendant Hero remain alive as much as possible.
