How to avoid low energy levels that rob you of greater career success

Eat, sleep and exercise your way to career success! Yes, these are the 3 keys to get you on your road to success in anything in life. If you do not take care of 'you' first and foremost, how do you expect to accomplish and/or succeed in other aspects in your life?

3 keys to high energy levels and a better chance of career success:
1. Eat Healthier
2. Sleep to recover


3. Exercise for energy

If you have poor eating habits, if you lack proper rest that your body needs, and if your heart is an attack waiting to happen, do you think you will have a better or worse chance at career success?

1. Eat Healthier

Eating 4-5 healthy meals every day will lead to better health and more energy. Eating proteins, carbohydrates, healthy fats, and drinking sufficient amount of water every single day will keep your metabolism up, your weight down, and your energy levels high!

Skipping a big breakfast keeps your energy levels down. Prepare yourself for a long day ahead with a good healthy breakfast. This will keep you fueled for that next healthy snack before lunch. Keep lunch at a healthy portion, as you will be eating another 1 or 2 snacks before a smaller dinner.

You'll find that eating 4-5 healthy meals (which include the 2-3 snacks in between meals) will keep your energy levels up and it will lead to a better feeling you. A better feeling you gives you a better chance at career success.

2. Sleep to recover

Sleeping 6-8 hours a day is key to your body's recovery from a 16-18 hour day! You need enough sleep! Just like an athlete needs to do a recovery workout or a day of rest to get his muscles a chance to rebuild, your body needs to recover and energize with a good nights sleep. The key word: energize! Without this recovery, you will find yourself weak, sick, and low in metabolism, hence, lack of energy that you need to strive for career success.

Too much sleep, on the other hand, may lead to fatigue and a lethargic day. Too much sleep, like too much of anything, is unhealthy. Moderation is key, but in this case, proper sleeping habits is key to more energy and career success.

3. Exercise for energy

You have seen how athletic, exercise focused, individuals are always active. They always have a ton of energy. Once their exercise session is over they feel great and ready for another one. This is the habit that the body can get used to, and if it used to feeling great, this leads to a greater chance of high energy at the work place, more focus, and more productivity. These, along with the commitment to achieve more will lead to career success.

Lack of exercise means a poor heart, a lack of a healthy lifestyle, and a lesser chance to succeed in just about anything.

These three essential lifestyle habits are to be done together. You cannot achieve high energy levels by doing just one or two. Commitment to all three is also reflective of your commitment to career success.

Healthy habits are the main ingredient here. Healthy habits lead to a better way of life in and outside of work. And if you want success remember, "Your success is hidden in your daily habits." Make Eating, Sleeping, and Exercise part of your daily habits and give yourself a greater chance to succeed in anything you do - including career success!
