Last Sail-A Lament
Silver-toed sprite-she skirts a glistening horizon
dodging the shrieks of low-flying gulls-tip toes
grinning by the heavy high jumps
of egg fat salmon
to slice crisp waters clean through.
With full sails dipped low
she teases the season
running a course
due south.
