Best shows on television

Tv is a huge part of my life... It seems every season ABC and FOX amaze me with newly rolled out shows that intrigue my mind here are my top 3 I think are best and why. These are not ranked in order of favorite.

Lost (ABC, Returns Late January). Oceanic flight 815 set for a flight from Los Angeles to Australia crashes on a remote island off the coast of Fiji. Dr Jack Shephard (played by Matthew Fox) brings the cast together to try and unravel many of the mysterious islands secrets. What makes Lost so great is in fact these secrets for example the white polar bear that roams free on the island as well as smoke monsters and the islands ability to heal. The survivors also come to find that they are not alone on the island when they encounter "THE OTHERS" a group that seems to be indigenous to the island at least at first glance. Other than the fact that I am a huge science fiction fan Lost also keeps me interested due to the great cast from Hugo (Jorge Garcia) a recent mega millions lottery winner to Kate (Evangeline Lilly) a fugitive on the run for murder. J.J Abrams does a splendid job of giving the viewers enough each week to leave them wanting more. No show in history has had such a cult following, the final season is set for January and aims to please.

Sons of Anarchy (FX, Tuesday) Wow this might just be my favorite show on TV! Although only in its sophomore season Sons of Anarchy its one of the best shows in TV. It tells the story of SAMCRO (Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club Redwood Original) a biker club from Charming California and its Vice President Jax Teller (Charlie Hunnam). Jax struggles to make his late fathers dream become reality of making all facets of the clubs business legal and get away from running guns. Jax reaches a stopping point in accomplishing his goals from current club "Prez" Clay Morrow (Ron Perlman). Clay wants the club to continue to run guns and kill anyone who stands in there way. With everything from drugs romance murder and even some comedy this show has something for everyone. It is however TV:M for mature so children need to be asleep before you view this one.

Fringe (FOX, Thursday) Yet another sophomore hit Fox takes you into the mind of Dr.Walter bishop (John Noble) and the fringe science division of the FBI. With cases such as a woman giving birth to a baby who ages 80 years in a matter of minutes to Agent Olivia Dunham (Anna Torv) traveling to a parallel universe in which the 911 tragedy never took place. Fringe will have you on the edge of your seat for the entire hour. What keeps me watching every week is the way J.J Abrams makes the viewer use their mind to figure out the secrets of the show. If like me you are a fan of sci-fi this show is a cant miss.

Family Guy (FOX) The only cartoon to make the list as well as comedy comes from the comedic mind of Seth MacFarlane. Family guy takes the viewer in the house of a everyday family from a quaint town in Rhode Island the Griffin family. The head of the house Peter Griffin plays a over the top Father, Husband combo that cannot fail. His flashback memories to things that "Grind His Gears" will have you laughing out loud literally. My favorite on the show has to be baby Stewert Gilligan Griffin or simply Stewie who is on a mission of world domination all while at the same time taking multiple attempts at killing his mother Louis. These show does push the envelope of TV, however its all done in a laughable matter. If every family was run this way we would be in trouble.
