Words that dance before my eyes
Some are witty, some are wise
Others foolish by default
A mystery, the end result
What story shall I tell today?
What characters will lead the way?
Into the dark abyss of prose
A fantasy perhaps? Who knows!
Line by line my tale takes shape
My comfort zone, the great escape
And finally when I am through
There's something there to share with you
And while I rather like this game
I'd like to thank you all the same
For reading what a writer wrote
And now I'll leave you, on that note

Like a man's hand caresses a woman's hair,
My fingers would caress
In Bed With All of Them
My old bed drooped-
sagged in the middle where
a board was cracked and

New life takes place in the mind, soul, or heart.
