There are times
Things get us down,
Cloud our minds
And make us frown.

We have friends
Who make us strong,
Love never bends
However long.

There are times
That cause us pain,
Our heart it binds
Our soul in chain.

We have friends
Who love us so,
Make troubles end
When we are low.

There are times
When we feel sad,
There are no signs
Of good times had.

We have friends
To bring us smiles,
And love they send
Across the miles.

There are times
That bring us tears,
And doubt finds
Our hidden fears.

We have friends
To see us through,
Give us hands
To help us too!

There are times
All seems forlorn,
For no reasons nor rhymes
Then hope is born.

We have friends
To comfort us,
To help us mend
They are the best!
