Sometimes I feel so very scared,

That for me, you never cared.

Not from your heart, not even a friend,

This relationship, you'd rather end.

Perhaps you feel I'm too insecure,

But when you leave, these feelings recur.

Sometimes I feel I should walk away,

Because my feelings grow stronger everyday.

I cannot move past you, cannot move on,

Until these hopes I harbour are gone.

But while I'm around you, the hope's still alive,

So your company, myself, I must deprive.

And yet it seems I cannot leave you,

But if I could, what would I do?

I miss you so when you are not here,

I'd close my eyes and wish you were near.

There is no place within my heart,

For someone else, he'll have no part.

I see you still within my dreams,

I wish I could tell what it all means.

If only you could love me too,

Return these feelings I have for you.

I wish and dream and still I hope,

But life without you, how will I cope?

Now do you see? Do you understand why?

I must leave and say "goodbye"?
