The importance of exercise for Weight Watchers success

Weight Watchers success is dependent on a total lifestyle approach that consists of eating well and being involved activities that contribute to overall fitness and health. Weight Watchers members note what they eat, how much they eat, and how often they eat. They put to good use what they have eaten and not store it in the body until it becomes the excess weight they need to lose under extreme conditions such as fad diets, starvation, and eating disorders.

The Weight Watchers program advocates that fitness becomes an integral part of its community's healthy lifestyle. How does exercise tie in with Weight Watchers success? Take this illustration of an elastic bag. Fill it with items that match its exact capacity. The elastic bag looks good. However, try to squeeze more items than what the elastic bag can comfortably hold, and its surface starts bulging, it starts sagging, and it doe not have that fitting look anymore.

Similarly, the elastic bag is like our body. Fill it with more calories than it needs, and our body bulges at unsightly places, our internal organs work overtime to process the excess calories, and we become an unhealthy lump. How important is exercise for Weight Watchers success? Exercise does the following for us, and ties in neatly in ensuring Weight Watchers success.

* Exercise improves metabolic rate. While Weight Watchers keep fattening stuff at bay, an improved metabolic rate works beautifully alongside to burn off the access fats that they want to lose.

* Exercise tones the body muscles, and gives the body that look of fitness and wellness that Weight Watchers work towards. Toned muscles look better than celluloid-ridden flabby thighs, and work more efficiently towards losing even more weight.

* Exercise improves blood circulation. Improved blood circulation ensures Weight Watchers are more mentally alert and physically agile. A good thinking mind helps Weight Watchers stay alert to what they are doing, and hence they are more aware of what they eat. Being physically agile can save them from tons of injuries.

* Exercise burns off the excess sugars in the blood, hence decreasing the chances of diabetes and other blood sugar-related ailments. Less unwanted sugar in the blood also helps ensure the Weight Watcher move more efficiently and thus have that continence of all round fitness.

* Exercise keeps mental faculties alert. A more efficient body and blood flow ensure a better thinker and more alert Weight Watcher.

* Exercise improves breathing. More controlled breathing helps the body relax and function at optimal level. This calming effect leaves the Weight Watchers feeling calm and more ready to face the challenges of the day.

* Exercise helps fight off diseases such as cholesterol, diabetes, and osteoarthritis, thus improving the Weight Watchers' level of fitness.

Weight Watchers success is not simply the ability to lose weight in the short term, but to reach a lifestyle that ensures long term health and fitness. The importance of exercise for Weight Watchers success should never be downplayed.

Just as eating right, not eating less, is the approach to weight loss as Weight Watchers, a careful selection of exercises and activities that match the Weight Watchers' present fitness state, and according to the approval of the doctor for the chronically obese Weight Watcher, will work towards long term fitness and health levels for Weight Watchers.
