My Angel in Repose
My Angel in repose, she stands there like an altar. She is all I see. Does she see, the way my heart trembles at the thought of her? The way I long to press her to my bosom, and shout to the heavens my truest and most earnest pleas. I fall silent, for in silence my soul sings to her a melody so sweet and tender, that the angels that surround my beloved weep, with a joy only attainable by those who have tasted a love that I am blessed to know.
My Angel in repose, she stands there like an altar. She is my reason, my gift, my yearning. She is my light, my salvation, and my privilege. She is the fire of the passionate, the nourishment for those who thirst, and with the white-hot intensity of a thousand suns, she shines her grace upon a darkened world.
My Angel in repose, she stands there like an altar. She hears my song, and bequeaths to me her sincerest portion, and our compliment resounds throughout the heavens, an ecstatic harmony that requites the Gods, and fulfills loves most ultimate purpose.
My Angel in repose, I pray at her altar. I utter a declaration of gratitude for the occasion to adore one so fair, so beautiful. Fortune has blessed our union, and has ignited a flame that forever more will burn with the recognition of my souls delight. My undying and everlasting love I pledge to her, she need not ask, for I have always been hers.
She is my Angel, and I Love her.
