Are there easy ways to make money online while staying at home?

by Stephanie Wiederspohn

It seems that you don't even need to be looking for a work from home job to be receiving numerous junk mails containing work from home information. Paid Surveys, Data Entry, Envelope Mailing, and even Freelance Writing, are commonly heard of work from home jobs. This article will touch more on the Paid Survey jobs.

Most paid survey job websites boast extreme earning potentials, and amazing customer testimonials, but few offer much information on the actual program. Any details given on the actual job are very vague and can be construed in a number of ways. Their websites can be very attractive to the eye, but they all seem to have a common theme; make lots of money in no time at all, with absolutely no experience. This just simply is not realistic. What these companies have done is found the lazy person's dream job and capitalized on it.

After reading through the hyped up information on how great your life will be upon registering with this company, you are lead to the catch. For only $34.99 a month you can become a member and have access to the company's database. Some people read this and are instantly turned off. However, others see this and think it a small price to pay to achieve their dream job. Many people who choose to pay this small price will be disappointed to discover their great job opportunity was a big bust.

Most of these databases contain other companies who require a membership fee, looping you into a cycle of paying fees with no cash returns. Survey companies rewarding only points or contest entries are also common in these databases. A few surveys actually do pay a small amount of money to participate, but there are not enough available to make an actual income. There may very well be some companies out there that do offer actual surveys that can earn a person a decent income, but in 3 years, I have yet to find one.

When looking at work from home sites, always stop to think about what you are reading. Look at it as if you are reading a help wanted ad. Would you agree to be employed for a job you didn't know much about? Personally, I believe when it comes to paid survey companies, you should not have to pay to join. If you are considering paying to join a paid survey company, be sure to do your research first. Google can be a good search tool for other people's views and scam alerts. There are even some sites that will list their highest reviewed companies. If, after researching, you are still unsure whether or not a particular paid survey company will earn you the income you desire, remember, if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is.
