Words you carelessly wrote to me
Each time you went away
They spoke of how true our love was
How I was the only one for you
I didn't read between the lines
I couldn't see the truth
Many times you spoke of me
As if I were your only one
But soon the sun rose again
And our true love has been undone
I have opened my eyes
To these careless words you wrote
The letters that made up your notes
Careless words without no meaning
Only to keep me feeling
That I was loved and not alone.

the sunshine I long to

It sounds nothing like you.
You

Words you carelessly wrote to me
Each time you went away
They spoke of how true our love was
How I was the only one for
