A category may also be subdivided into other categories. You may also select a wallpaper based on its resolution. The resolutions available include those for normal screen and those for wide screen monitors. The quality of the wallpaper are mainly good and they look very much professionally done. The website has links to other websites with wallpapers.

Freedesktopwallpapers.net also has a large collection of wallpapers that are also placed under various categories. Unlike wallpaperstock.net, its celebrities category is not divided into male and female. The website has the Valentine, sci-fi,sunset, and space categories in additional to the ones you can find on wallpaperstock.net. The wallpapers on the website are mainly colour photographs which looked professionally taken. Unlike wallpapestock.net, the website does not provide you the opportunity to select a resolution before choosing a category but only after a category is selected. Unlike wallpaperstock.net, there are only two resolutions available. There is also a message telling you the resolution of your screen to help you choose the wallpaper with the correct resolution. There is also a popular wallpaper category and each category is represented by a thumbnail representing the best wallpaper in the category.

Desktopwallpaperfree.com's wallpapers are also placed into various categories but some celebrities like the Beetles, Jessica Simpson, and David Beckham have direct links to wallpapers that contain images of them on the home page. There are also separate links to wallpapers containing images of sports like Baseball, Basketball, and Hockey on the home page. There are no thumbnails or any other images present on the home page and this may make a person
