A time of darkness
Living without you
Is like living in darkness.
No sun, no moon
No solid exsitence
My life is like darkness
The moon and the sun
No longer orbit,
The stars in the sky
No longer shine.
The meteors quit reaching earth
For I am now in a time of darkness
I no longer dance in the rain
Or sing in the shower
No more feeling the pain
Every other hour
I have grown quiet accustomed
To this lonely time of darkness

World destruction
Blood shed
Lives destroyed
Children cry,
As their parents die
Bombs destroy
