Poetry: Family

by Brandon Lim

Created on: November 10, 2009

A plant is like a family
The children are the fruits
The mother is the tree trunk
That supports them with the roots

The roots are like the father
Which is the plants foundation
That meanwhile gathers water
To prevent it from dehydration

The worms are like divorce
Which severs the family
But only love can reunite it
For love is unity
