The importance of personal freedom in your choice of work

When it comes to choosing a career, or line of work, having some personal freedom is a very important thing indeed. When we go to work, we go to work to live. We do not live to go to work, and we need to still have a little bit of freedom when we work. Our work should be an extension of us, and not something that is totally detached from our lives. It can be very disheartening when we are attached to our work, yet our work says nothing about us.

Personal freedom is what we all strive for as people. We need to be able to have the freedom to do our own thing at work from time to time. We need the ability to make our own decisions, and to blaze a trail that is going to be a legacy for ourselves. What is so great about only asking if you want paper or plastic? What about that is going to make you happy, or at least give you some sense of purpose?

You need to be working in a place where you have the chance to learn and grow. What is the point of working at a job where you are at the whims of someone else. Trust me, if you are not at the top, you are just another cog in the machine, and you need to at least feel like you have some sort of control. It really does help to work with people who allow you to do what you want to do just a little bit.

The freedom of choice is something that we all hold dear. It doesn't matter at the end of the day what rules you have to follow, it is all worth it if you have the choice of what rules to follow. It doesn't matter if you have a million deadlines, as long as you get to choose what to write about so that you can make the deadline. You have to have some say as to what you do in life, and that goes a long way toward deciding what you do in life.

We all need to have some say as to what we want to do with our lives. If we can't choose what we do during the day, we are just going to get burned out. No matter what career choice you have, if you can't do anything with it, what is the point? Sure, you get a paycheck, but why even go to school then? It doesn't take that much talent to work at Burger King, or for minimum wage does it?

If you are going to make the most of life, you have to take the bull by the horns sometimes. You need to just find a job that allows you to work to your full potential. If you can do that, you are going to be happy, and you will be more fulfilled no matter what your job choice ends up being.
