Laundry tips and tricks

Tough stains on clothes are a real pain, especially when you've tried everything you can to get them out. My son stains his clothes so quickly (even new school clothes) that I used to never be able to keep up with getting them cleaned. Then I found a great little stain spray in OxiClean. I'd heard things about this great spray, but had never tried it before a few days ago. Here are some tips for getting tough stains out of clothes using OxiClean Stain Spray. You'll be amazed at how terrific this simple little spray works.

Spray stains on clothes immediately after taking them off. Squirt OxiClean stain removing spray directly on the stain and gently rub in. Let the clothing sit for a bit. I've even let clothes that were sprayed with OxiClean sit for a few days.

Toss clothing in the washer and wash on cold temperature. The cold temperature prevents the stain from setting in during the wash cycle and allows the OxiClean stain spray to work it's magic. You can put other clothes in with the clothing that has been sprayed with OxiClean and it will brighten them as well.

When the wash cycle is done, toss clothing into the dryer on medium high setting. Dry freshly cleaned clothes for approximately 60-90 minutes (depending on how quickly your dryer works). You can also choose to hang clothing up to dry if you wish, but the OxiClean stain spray works so well that you won't have to worry about the stains setting in while drying.

Clothing that's been sprayed with OxiClean will come out looking like new. The stains will be gone. The best part about this product is that I used OxiClean when I was at my wits end with stains and had already washed and dried the stained clothes. I sprayed OxiClean on the stains, let the clothing sit a few days, then dried as usual and the stains were gone!

More Helpful Laundry Tips:

OxiClean gets out dirt, grease (cooking and oil grease), grass, blood, ketchup, mustard, coffee, and even tar stains. OxiClean stain spray can even whiten up your dingiest white clothing...try it on yellowed arm pit stains or ring around the collar. OxiClean works great on pillows that have hair oil stains, accidents in undergarments, and old stains that have been on clothing for a long time. The longer you let Oxiclean sit on stains, the better stains will come out of clothes in the wash...up to 3 days.
